How we work:
Our founding committee is currently running a lot of the campaign - that means they are posting on social media, emailing our members, paying out of their own pockets for the website, leaflets, emails and more.
But the strength of this campaign comes from you. It is your engagement we are interested in. At the discussion groups, which will review and edit our discussion guide, we will hold votes on changing our proposals. Volunteers, alongside our founding committee, will then adapt those proposals into amendments ready for founding conference.
After founding conference we will hold an AGM where all members will be invited to decide if this campaign should continue and if it continues, who should be on the steering committee. If the AGM resolves to continue this campaign, it will also need to agree a constitution and rule book.
But right now, we have one sole focus. To campaign for democracy at the founding conference. If you want to support us then please sign up and donate to our campaign.
